A comfortable and interesting classroom makes for an ideal learning environment for students, especially those striving to learn with barriers like anxiety and ADHD. My project emphasizes creating a safe space for students, including variable lighting for those sensitive to the bright overhead lights of the room. The other items are to contribute to the sense of escape that I seek for the room to provide. With a couple small flourishes, a relatively bland classroom can become a haven for students who want to learn or even just escape the bustle of secondary school amidst a pandemic.
