Having 1:1 devices is great and allows students to work independently. However, the noise coming from having 20+ chromebooks being used at the same time can make it hard for students to focus on their own work. I would love to provide my students with individual, good-quality headphones to use while they are working. Many of my students struggle to stay focused and engaged when they can hear so many distractions around them. Having headphones will allow them to focus more on what they are doing and less on the excessive noises around them. I want my students to be able to listen to what they are learning, to hear what is being explained and know that they are getting the best learning experience when working independently.
