Our students have taken the first steps at learning what coding is and how it's used. What our school needs are robots to "show" students how coding can be implemented in a real situation. Coding greatly improves problem solving and critical thinking skills as students consider problems and figure out ways to solve it. I would like to use Botley robots to show the students that they can code/program a robot and make it do what they want it to do. Botley is a small car robot that comes with a remote. It does not need an iPad to work. This will help them understand that a computer only does what you tell it to do, and directions need to be specific and exact.
