I will use all the modeling materials to demonstrate student understanding of cells, the water cycle, Human-Environment interactions, and so much more. Models allow me to see physically what students know. I can assess students' understanding of their vocabulary, concepts and their ability to recreate and design models using their knowledge. Modeling is a higher level of thinking. This skill is the most important skill a teacher could teach as it producers leaders and out-of-the-box thinkers. Bringing learning to life using legos and color will change how students learn. If this project was fully funded I would be able to create lessons that bring Science and Social studies to life through models. Thank you for your time and consideration!
