These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by making abstract math concepts visual and tactile, providing a variety of ways for students to understand math. I also have lots of students with special needs and accommodations, who will benefit greatly from the learning tools emotionally and mentally in addition to academically. I plan to use these tools to create engaging, memorable lessons. These tools could potentially be used at home as needed. Most of the materials were direct suggestions from students. I believe that all students learn in different ways, and I selected the following materials bearing in mind as much variety in learning as I could to reach as many students as possible in the ways they individually need.
