My students have been heavily impacted by COVID. All of the students that I work with have Autism Spectrum disorders and coming back to school after COVID has been an extremely difficult adjustment for some. With access to materials that are sensory based and games, puzzles, and language activities, my students will be provided with an environment and the necessary resources that will allow them to see the most success in speech therapy and will help ease this transition back to in person learning. These materials will be useful not only in speech but in their classroom learning environment as well. These products will allow my students to have access to various types of materials to meet the various needs that each student has. All of the items that have been selected will allow my students to learn in unique ways, allowing them to have an outlet, meet sensory needs, learn about language, vocabulary, and read all in fun and exciting ways. I hope that with these materials, my students will have a newfound interest in speech and success will continue to be seen in their work and with access to these new materials.
