Evaluating students' graduation credit and academic progress is a huge part of my day-to-day work. Receiving this iPad will not only help me better track students' academic progress, but it will also help me teach students better coping skills and strategies to help them be more successful during the school day. Mental health is also a large component of my day-to-day work. With an iPad, I could guide students struggling with anxiety through a meditation exercise, find positive affirmations and inspiration, and have a wealth of resources to help students better cope with anxiety and depression while at school. Having an iPad would make the necessary information much more readily available for me to make sure students are on track for graduation, help them recover credit from classes they may have failed, and find more resources to help students be college and career ready.
