The headphones will be used to administer the State Required Dyslexia Screener as well as be used during our daily Reading Intervention block. The stools will be used to provide flexible seating to students. The books will enhance my classroom library and instill a love of reading in my students since most do not have books at home. I want the classroom to feel like home away home. Therefore, the decorations and storage will be used so that the classroom is a warm and inviting space. Many students are not able to provide their own school supplies. Therefore, the scissors, rulers, crayons, and dry erase markers will be given to students that normally would not have their own school supplies.
