The students that I serve are speech-language delayed and need intensive therapy to allow them to better access their curriculum and succeed in academics. Areas of concentration include expressive language (being able to express their thoughts), receptive language (understanding what is being said), pragmatics (social use of language), and speech sound disorders. These supplies will assist me in meeting their speech-language goals while increasing their ability to communicate their wants, needs, and feelings and to participate in class. Several items will be perfect for virtual and distance learning, such as the workbooks. During Zoom sessions, I can use these materials to keep my students excited and focused on learning.
