A classroom is a space where many different learning strategies are used to meet the needs of all learners. One particular thing I have noticed is with the transition from remote learning. I have had to incorporate some of those virtual structures that I have previously utilized to have in person. Students are great at advocating for their needs and how we can best help them in order to succeed. Since students each learn at their own pace, utilizing technology in class can be a difficult task. Not every student has access to some of the technology that would be beneficial for our learning activities. We like to provide video tasks where students lead these activities independently. Providing my classes with a set of headphones will allow students the opportunity to fully engage with the academic materials and provide them with the opportunity to learn at their own pace based on their learning needs.
