In jewelry we push that everyone is an artist. Not just students who can paint and draw. There are so many ways to be creative, I have had students tell me "I never knew I was an artist before creating jewelry". We want to continue to show that EVERYONE can be creative. Receiving a circuit in class we would be able to incorporate technology with jewelry by creating digital cut outs that can be acid etched out of metals we use in class. In many technological fields, creativity and technology collide. We want to show these students preparing for the real world that they are capable of creativity in the work field. The files and clamps are so that we can have enough supplies for how large our classes are.
