Students in my class will use these boards daily to show what they know. After showing them a few examples students then try a problem on their own on the boards. While they work I walk around and provide feedback and correct misconceptions. These boards will also provide a place for them to show their creativity when not in use for math problems. They will also be a great tool to keep my students engaged and continue growing their math understanding in my class. The portable marker board will allow me to demonstrate how to do the math but also allow for group work where students can work as a team to solve multistep problems. This will also allow a portable surface for small intervention and remediation groups. The pandemic has created multiple learning gaps, these resources will help fill those gaps on a daily basis and will help with student engagement.
