The laptops I have selected will allow my students the luxury of having technology at their fingertips on a weekly, or even daily, basis. Students will be able to rotate in groups to complete remediation and enrichment activities for our language arts standards on digital platforms. Also, access to this technology will enhance student engagement specifically when they have the opportunity to complete collaborative assignments that allow simultaneous work from different laptops. Your generous donation to our classroom project will allow students to focus more as they usually do when using technology that works! Ultimately, it can motivate them to perform at higher levels on classroom, county, and district assessments. A technology center within our own classroom will be an exciting addition to our learning community. If only for the simple fact that students will broaden the scope of their typing skills beyond using their thumbs to type on a cellphone.
