The last time my students had a normal school year was in Kindergarten. They missed critical years of foundational skills. My job as their teacher is to fill in the gaps and scaffold learning to the best of my ability. This requires a lot of differentiation in the classroom. The items I am purchasing will help facilitate differentiation in the classroom as well as strengthen a wide variety of skills in a fun and engaging way. Furthermore, this will allow students to have meaningful conversations about math, ask questions, and drive their learning paths.
