The charter for our school is based on integrating the arts into academic learning in order to promote well-rounded learning. I have seen my students become so much more engaged in learning about the past and other countries and cultures around the world, simply by creating projects centered on the concepts we are studying. The paper, scissors, markers, glue and colored pencils will all be used in projects that will bring history and geography to life for my students. Creating art allows students with different learning styles to shine. Thank you!
