As a high school special education ID teacher, my goal for my students is to teach them life skills to prepare them for life after school. The life skills I teach the student's will help them succeed with their future jobs and independent living. My students perform classroom jobs such as staff snack carts, cooking, laundry, and grocery shopping. This grant could help my student's journey to a more successful and brighter future. The cooking materials I would purchase for my class would heighten their cooking experience by being able to cook inside the classroom. Since Covid we have had to use our funds for other classroom items. This grant would be life changing for these students.
