In today's health science and medical fields students must be competitive learners and gain the experience of a modern biotechnology lab. I have one set of micro-pipettes that only allow for a few students at a time to use them. Much time is wasted "waiting for pipettes" during a lab. These micro-pipettes will allow additional students to experience how to accurately pipette solutions and materials in a biotechnology laboratory activity. I know from experience, that my students always look forward to these labs and politely "wait their turn" to use the equipment. Having the additional pipettes will give all my students an opportunity to "do" in my classroom and not just "watch" others. We can hardly wait!
