Students in dual Chinese immersion program learn both Chinese and English in school. According to the curriculum, Math is taught in Chinese and reviewed in English. It can be a challenge for students understanding the new concept in Chinese. Also, because of lack of hands-on material, it can be more difficult for some students deepen their learning. With those geometric shape hands-on material, it will provide my students learning from the actual object, building and making art projects. Geometric Shape lesson will be so much fun and help students to engage better!
