The use of instructional videos is becoming ever more important in my classes, since students are absent far more due to Covid and remote learning days. Reteaching is not always possible, and kids need more opportunities to learn independently, by necessity. During class, students will use headphones to watch tutorials on IXL and to engage with instructional Mathematics videos like Khan Academy at differing levels of difficulty, as needed. At home, students can use headphones to eliminate background sounds and hear and focus on their online lessons during remote learning.
