Flexible seating gives students options to make themselves more comfortable during seatwork. Social Emotional Tools give them brain breaks needed for continued learning. Giving children optional seating helps them to take control of their learning in a more comfortable setting. They are able to focus on learning for longer periods of time. Cardio Sticks and stress balls are the tools my students need to do Cardio desk drumming. We will use them often for beneficial brain breaks. Stress balls help students focus while taking a test or working on assignments.
