My goal is to create a relaxing space where my students can come to read. It seems that children are reading less and less. I believe that a reading area would make my students want to go to it as it will look much different than the average classroom seating arrangement such as a desk or table. This reading area will allow me to promote reading in my classroom as we know, reading is so very important to the success of our children. Reading is necessary for every subject area. To be successful, we most give our kids the tools.
