The gel boards allow students to show me what they are learning. As I scan the room I can give immediate feedback to my students. Students can gain confidence as they progress toward their learning goals. Immediate feedback is important to let students know how they are doing. With COVID and other illnesses abounding, I never know how many students I will have in person from day to day. Practice is important, but letting them know they are practicing items correctly is even more so. As we finish the class gel board practice and transition to individual practice they can know they are on the right track.
