Students need headphones for using online programs that help them prepare for state testing. We use cardstock to make consumable materials. Pencils are always needed as well as erasers and pencil sharpeners. When I first started teaching, I had no idea how important pencil sharpeners would be. We are always sharpening pencils so the students can write wonderful essays about the Solar System. Our next unit is on Ancient Rome and we will be doing lots of projects and writing. We will use the cardstock and pencils to help us do our work.
