I teach a math class for struggling students. My students try really hard but sometimes they just need extra help. Some of them don't have the resources to get a calculator and many just forget to bring them to class. I would really like to have a class set of calculators so that I can bring that technology into the classroom. There are a lot of lessons that I teach using the scientific calculator but I have had to cut them out because not all of my students have those calculators. I feel like sometimes my students will struggle on the test because they forgot their calculator or just don't have one. I don't have the funds to buy enough calculators for my students on my own. That is why I am using donors choose to help get some calculators for my students to use at school and help them be successful at math.
