Having a central gathering place in my classroom is very important to me. The puzzle mats create a space where students can work together in small groups, sitting more comfortably than on the carpet laid on cement. I also use the puzzle mats when I'm teaching concepts and as a place to play games such as the ones on my list. The book sets I've ordered will be used to differentiate reading groups of varying levels. The laminator will be used to lengthen the life of teaching materials and student work.
