Due to the pandemic, my students have been learning from home for the past two years and are having a difficult transition to the classroom. Now that they are in the classroom setting for the first time, most of the students are unable to conduct themselves in a school appropriate manner. They are not used to sitting at desks and constantly move throughout the classroom during each lesson. These resources will be used to create more comfortable seating and flexibility in the classroom that they were accustomed to while learning from home during the past two years. Also, these seating options will help improve their posture by strengthening their physical stamina. Since my students have had limited peer interactions over the past two years, I would like to help them improve their Social Emotional skills. I will use the prompt cards to foster classroom discussion and camaraderie.
