The books I requested will help improve the literacy benchmarks for the children in my center who may have fallen a bit behind due to the Covid pandemic. These fresh items will allow for more hands-on learning and engagement while they practice their cognitive skills during our daily story time. The storage bins will allow my classroom to properly store our items in age-appropriate ways to help keep my kids on task. Books are the best teachers and having safe storage spaces for those books will help them last for years to come. Both items will help me achieve a safe and effective environment to learn essential social and emotional behaviors, literacy goals and overall well-rounded learning opportunities, so my students will be best prepared to enter General Ed classes in the coming years.
