We discuss the area of two and three dimensional figures in my Geometry classes. We also discuss circles, transformations, translations, and figure reflections. When we're solving problems, I often have my students compete against one another. They enjoy displaying their work and outperforming their peers. I also prefer to utilize this teaching style to conduct fast checks to assess their comprehension of the topic. Show me the answer! My students display their work when solving problems, and in order to accommodate different learning styles, I'd like to purchase dry erase boards for them to display their work. My pupils will have the option to show me their work by displaying their white boards in the air during the guided practice and autonomous portion of the class. My students will be more engaged and ready to study as a result of this.
