Students each come with their own unique strengths and weakness. Although each are different and therefore make learning different for each of them, flexible seating can level the playing field for those who have a weakness in focus and attention. The ability to sit and learn in a way that promotes students strengths not only increases student engagement but also learning outcome. Flexible seating has been proven to increase oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and increases core strength. In turn this helps to keep young minds more alert and focused. Flexible seating allows for more natural movement, most work places do not sit row by row like schools. Adults are allowed to choose seating that is not only comfortable for them but also allows them to be the most productive. Students should be given the option to choose what type of seating will make them the most successful.
