I teach middle school students with cognitive abilities that range from pre-school to eighth grade. These donations will help our teachers and paraprofessionals accommodate each student and help him or her access the curriculum. For example, we use wipe boards everyday. We rely on them for practice and accountability. They allow us to see which students have mastered the concept and who is still struggling. Having magnetic boards that will allow us to use fraction, place value, and math value stick manipulative will greatly enhance their learning as well as their ability to remember the concepts we are teaching. Moreover, we have several science concepts that are truly difficult to grasp unless real items are used. We are incredibly grateful to have these donations. Thank you!
