My students are technologically curious; much of their curriculum is web-based and they can navigate through the online lessons quite efficiently. They also appreciate the opportunity to complete and submit their lessons using GDoc or GSlide via GClassroom. The eagerness of my students to open a Chromebook and get busy navigating an online lesson is palpable; when reality sets in that they will need to wait until a later time to approach their lesson due to lack of Chromebooks - their spirit drops immediately. My students also enjoy online education games that often teach them more than they realize! Many of the games they enjoy are academically rigorous, while others are socially and emotionally beneficial. When they feel successful while playing online education games, their excitement shows in their faces and even in their posture! It's clear they would rather be nowhere else than in school with their classmates and me.
