These materials will give my student tangible evidence of their social/emotional learning. The workbooks will be guides to learning. They will then become resources for them to reflect on insights they have received. They will also help them continue to practice the skills they have been learning. Adults with disabilities often need additional specialized instruction to develop skills for receiving correction, managing conflict, and accepting who they are. These materials were selected to support the students develop these skills. Thus allowing them to be better prepared to engage in society.
