In a technology-driven world, students often struggle with how to use that technology to adapt to the world around them. My students have challenges with social skills and communication skills. With upgraded technology, they are able to learn different applications that will help them access their education and the world around them. Some of these applications allow students to take a snapshot of an assignment and annotate the snapshot rather than writing with a pencil. Others allow students to learn specific social skills that will help them interact with the people around them and develop friendships.
