As one of my school's reading specialists I am tasked with helping our students obtain on or near grade level reading and writing scores as well as have an over all love of all things books. With these Kindles, I can expand the selection of books to my students and allow them to explore authors on their terms. Most of my students are well below grade level due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. With these Amazon Kindles they will have hundreds of books available to them at their level, but not be intimidated by the amount of pages they see or not be embarrassed by reading a leveled book. They will be able to use the headphones to listen without distracting their fellow classmates. My students are also grade levels behind on writing. These doodle boards and whiteboards will be used as tools within my classroom to expand their vocabulary and as writing tools. Thank you for looking at my project and giving my amazing students a chance.
