During these unpredictable times when so many things seem out of our' and our students' control, flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the best choices for them at home and school. Ensuring students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating students' at home or school. I have noticed notable differences in my students when they choose their seating, and movement isn't restricted. Students are more engaged and get more work completed than just sitting at a desk in a chair. When allowed flexible seating that doesn't restrict their movement, my students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less distractible. The products I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The Bungie chairs are adjustable and allow students to sit at desk/higher tables but still allow some movement. These will be highly beneficial for some students that need to get their wiggles out. They can also be used as an alternative chair if needed! The Bouncband Wiggle Wobble Chair Feet transforms a standard chair into a wobble chair, increasing student focus and productivity when working at home or school. I also choose books to provide some place to go when we are in the classroom. I have seen how allowing movement can positively affect my students' work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow when virtual learning is unavoidable.
