I have always thought that students learn best by doing. These few resources will give students a chance to incorporate some of what they are learning in a project. They will get a chance to learn more about math in the world around them and ways that it can be applied. Things the might learn with the bridges in strength of materials and of different shapes. We will also give them an opportunity to read and learn about career (mostly engineering) where math can be applied. Math applied is the best way to go.
