The items that I have in the cart will help the brain to learn to regulate which improves learning outcomes. Sensory and movement activities encourage the brain to enter a "ready to learn" state which then helps the child to be in a better social emotional place. Sensory calming activities such as swinging help to organize the brain and promotes a more fertile environment for learning new information and retaining previously learned material. Sensory regulation is one of the foundational skills needed in order to allow the brain to focus on higher cognitive tasks.
