Students need hands on opportunities to practice learning their letters, sounds, and appropriate decodable texts both with support and independently. These items will help liven our classroom as we practice and develop a love of reading and writing as we decode, dictate, and dive into words! There is so much growth in first grade and a variety of leveled learning opportunities allow for individualized hands on practice all year long. Students are encouraged when they can be successful along the way to reaching reading and writing goals in a variety of situations. We can't wait to get started with some new resources.
