As an art teacher, I love to encourage my students to push their creative boundaries by experimenting as an artist. I try not to limit the materials and supplies that they have access to so they have the freedom to try new things. You never know what will inspire students or spark an interest and motivation in creating something meaningful to them. These new painting supplies will help my students explore and connect their own cultural experiences and backgrounds with what they are learning in art. It will also give them access to professional art supplies that they did not have access to while distance learning during the Coronavirus pandemic. It is so important that my students have the opportunity to experience a variety of tools and materials and to be able to share their backgrounds, emotions, and cultures in a visual and creative way!
