The classroom set of headphones will be used by students to remediate missed school work by working on their chromebook with online learning resources including videos. These headphones and videos will in no way replace my classroom instruction. Rather, these resources will be used during our flex period as dozens of students work on different lessons from the different days they were absent. This will allow students to focus on their individual remediation needs without the distraction of 50 different videos playing at the same time in the room. The filing cabinets will be used to organize student work - past, current, and future - so students are easily able to find the learning materials they need after being absent. Many of my students have missed weeks of school due to Covid-19, and these resources will help students remediate missed learning so that they can successfully engage with the rest of the school year.
