These items will help students be comfortable in class. The students in my class has behavior needs and can be fidgety and need to get comfortable in order to be successful. It is very important that my room is calm and soothing. Students disabilities range from emotional to intellectual and they all have unique ways of learning. I also have students who have physical challenges that require comfort and space. Since this is a mixed grade level class, one grade would be working on one area while the other is listening to me. This flexible seating idea would make the day better for the students. As an incentive, students would be rewarded with snacks and time to create music. They love music and sports!
