Social Emotional Learning (SEL) intervention groups are a gateway to helping students increase their self-awareness, self confidence and social skills. By donating to this project you are helping students from low income families improve and increase their racial/cultural identity and self-esteem. Students tend to feel comfortable and are more engaged in a structured learning environment that includes lite comfort foods (snacks) for them to eat during a break time that is built into each weekly group session. The attention and focus of students who are coming together with their peers to learn and gain cultural awareness will be increased by your generosity.

About my class
