Being a first year teacher can be a bit overwhelming. So many things to learn and do. I am finding that organization and creativity are a must. The kids come into computer prep with so much excitement that I have found if I am prepared we can transfer that same excitement into their projects. A Childs imagination is a wonderful thing to witness. As we explore the many programs and apps found on the iPad, the kids have enjoyed the ability to create through iMovie. Having these head costumes would allow my students to stretch their imagination further when creating the movies. Purchasing the filament will be used with the older grades to be able to supply their imaginations with the learning of a 3D printer. Along with expanding on their technology based understanding, having the children work together with their classmates allows them to gain needed skills for working together with a group and including others.
