Learning can be difficult for some students and then throw a pandemic into the mix and things can get gray and kind of hopeless. I want to create an experience for my students that helps them connect their emotions to literature in a way that helps them to express themselves as we cover core standards and talk about how other authors and artists have expressed themselves in trying times. I want to bring color and expression into learning in a way that motivates and encourages students to take time for self-reflection and creativity.
