Each week, I switch our book choices to match our weekly unit. I was extremely frustrated when I realized that my students only have access to about 10 books at a time because we only have one bookshelf and that is all that can be displayed of our books. I love that my students can correlate what we’re learning to our book choices, but the other 100 or so books get placed back in a bin on a very high shelf because we just don’t have storage for them. What I would love is for my students to have a new bookshelf that they can see all of the books that we have to read in our “library.” My students are very interested in books, but as you can imagine, they get bored with the same book choices. If anyone can help with this, my students and I would love and appreciate it!
