Science classes are filled with interactive and hands-on lessons. We incorporate student focused PowerPoints with our concepts. Often times we have to sit behind the computer to navigate through a PowerPoint or video. It takes away from the interaction needed and at times we loose focus. The iPad will allow me to maneuver through the classroom during the presentation keeping the students focused and engaged. One downside to sitting behind a desk to navigate through a presentation is that it becomes difficult to monitor student behaviors. With this iPad, I will be able to promote positive behaviors while encouraging participation.
