Due to the current pandemic, many of these students missed out on one of the most important foundational skills, reading. I would use these books to help boost the library with new books that are at a level students need. These books would pique the interest of many students at our school. I hope to encourage students to become independent readers and give them the ability to immerse themselves in a physical book. I hope to build a library where students fall in love with reading. The more new books that I can bring into the library the more chances I have to catch a new reader's attention. These books will not only help students today but in the years to come. A library is a joyous place where students feel safe to explore new adventures, new interests, and amazing places. With your help, I hope to keep my library growing for the growing minds of the youth that I serve.
