As part of educating the whole child, I would like to address my student's sensory issues that interfere with their learning. The intended use of these sensory products is to help students calm down and regulate their sensory needs. My students need a safe place to escape from sensory overload situations to self-regulate, return to their regular education classroom and attend to their assigned academic work. The COVID restrictions have heightened the sensory and regulatory process for our students with disabilities, and these resources will support their sensory and self-regulation techniques.
