The materials chosen will be used in small group centers during class, before and after school. By adding these resources to the classrooms, it allows the opportunity for students to have hands on manipulatives to build skills they are currently struggling with. The material chosen will help develop students' spatial skills, creative thinking and problem solving. The items will help expand skills they are needing to have a higher achievement in the STEM world. By implementing the supplies in the classroom, it adds another dimension to the pencil/paper or the computer programs. It will give them the opportunity to hold in their hand the various shapes, patterns and designs and visualize where or what is needed.
