Reading is one of the biggest struggles for students all around the United States. My goal is to get my students to become proficient readers who are confident about their reading and also to help them develop a love of reading. With these decodable books, I want to help them learn phonics skills that will help them developmentally and gain an understanding of reading and writing skills. These skills are important for elementary students to grow as readers and to help them with comprehension as they continue on in their schooling.

About my class
